Cummins 350 big cam valve adjustment

If you check the rocker side to side before locking the jam nut, you may tighten the inj adjuster too tight. Tighten jam nut and check side to side movement of the injector rocker by seperating the INJ and valve rockers to get side to side movement and if you have a slight drag ,(similar to magnetic drag) on the inj. Turn injector adjusting screw down half turn after rocker contacted the injector to seat the push tube and squeeze all the oil out, back off to loose and turn back until it contacted the injector plunger and add about 'schose' turn, just past zero lash setting. If you are not using a torque wrench for the injector adjustment a field expedient method that I used all the time (Six years working for Cummins) after doing my first set of TS injectors was to. Secondly TS Injectors set the same way you used to set the PT injectors with a dial indicator.
